The Cobalt Base Alloy CBA-1 used in the manufacture of Joewell Cobalts has been proven to have superior wear resistance allowing them to last 2.5 times longer than stainless steel. Black Cobalt is favoured by top artists around the world and they are very well suited for dry cutting, tapering, blunt, stroke and slide cutting. The SC55B has a 5 1/2" blade, weighs 37.0g, and has a regular size finger hole. The standard Joewell blade has a precision flat screw and a removable finger rest.
