“Urushi” is a Japanese word meaning lacquer. It is a natural resin paint made by sap collected from lacquer trees, and has high adhesiveness, water resistance, rust resistance, antibacterial properties and a beautiful appearance.

With extreme precision and hand-on craftmanship, our Urushi scissors are made in Iwate, Japan.

There are three styles to choose from:
